OTTAWA NEW EDINBURGH CLUB is proud to invite the Ottawa community for free on-water introductory lessons in sailing (dinghies) with club members. This is a great opportunity to get out on the water and discover the joy of being on the water. When: Saturday, 20 June 2015 between 1000 and 1400 Where: 501 Sir Georges St-Etienne Cartier (used to be Rockcliffe Parkway) No registration is required. - Time on the water will vary depending on the number of participants.
- We will be using dinghies which an accommodate two-three persons.
- Minimum age of participants: 9 years old
- Participants should wear clothing appropriate for outdoor activities. It maybe colder on the water than on land. Footwear should be any water sport shoes or an old pauir of running shoes. No footwear with open toes (sandals ,etc...)
- All participants must be able to swim.
