Organization

SailONEC has three divisions, a community sailing club, a fleet of privately owned and maintained keel boats and dinghies, and a sailing camp.

The club owns and maintains a fleet of CL16s, Lasers, Picos, and Fevas, which are used in training and are available for the use of qualified club members. The club provides a training program for adult members led by experienced members and offers certification under the Canadian Yachting Association’s (CYA) White Sail program.

The sailing camp provides sail training for kids aged 9 to 16 under the direction of Canadian Yatching Association accredited instructors. Training is through CYA White Sail to Bronze levels. Picos are the primary training boat with Lasers, Fevas, and CL16s as secondary training boats.

SailONEC provides mooring and docking facilities for privately owned keelboats and dinghies.
